Our Charter trips
Our Charter trips run from March through to October each year. Usually trips run for 6 days, Sunday to Friday, with travel on the Saturdays. However, we will accept long weekend bookings too, subject to availability. Minimum number to book a trip is 6 divers. The cost is £60 per day per person for 2 recreational dives or 1 technical dive (total boat charter is £720 per day). Maximum number is 12 divers. Endeavour has a spacious deck and can accommodate 12 technical divers including stage cylinders.
Your Trip
We provide a courtesy pick up (and drop off) from the airport or ferry terminal. Our charters include cylinders and weights. We have 12 & 15 litre cylinders as standard, and also twinsets, stage cylinders, pony cylinders and rebreather cylinders (additional charges apply). Standard dive cylinders will be filled with air unless you request otherwise.
Our boat - Endeavour
Endeavour is a 40ft Lochin purpose-built diving support vessel. She is UK MCA Cat 2 coded for 12 passengers and two crew and is fully licenced to operate in Manx territorial waters. Endeavour has a stern step-on winch lift (so there is no ladder to climb). On board there is a toilet, kettle, microwave and small fridge. The boat is equipped with two chart plotters, sonar, two VHF radios and radar. Endeavour is powered by a 12 litre, 6-cylinder turbo-charged Scania 600hp diesel engine. She carries up to 1200 litres of fuel, giving her a maximum journey range of 300 miles.
Safety on board Endeavour is one of our main concerns. As required by law there is a self inflating life raft, lifejackets, fire extinguishers, flares and EPIRBs. Oxygen kits and a full first aid kit are carried and there is always at least one First Aider on board. In addition, the cabin is heated so you can always warm up after your dive. Each diver has their own bench space on the boat. Cylinders are tied on to the railings to secure them while travelling. Underneath the bench is a crate for the rest of your kit. Spare cylinders can be secured in the central bottle rack. Dry kit can be stowed in the cabin.
