Dive training is open to anyone aged 14 or over.

Medical restrictions apply, please download and complete the medical screening form before enrolling on a training course..

Try Dive
If you've never dived before and want to find out what it's all about, then why not do a try dive?  We have weekly pool sessions and you will be taken in for a supervised session with one of our instructors.  If you want to arrange for a try-dive as a gift for someone else, we can provide you with a gift pack and voucher to give to them, and then they can call us and book a session. There is no minimum age for a try dive. Try sessions cost £30 and last about 2 hours in total.

We can also run group try dive sessions for companies, groups such as scouts or even as a novel idea for a birthday party.  If you would like to arrange a session, please get in touch.  We are happy to support corporate charity fundraising events too.

Learn to dive
Once you've been bitten by the diving bug, you'll want to become a qualified diver.  We offer training from BSAC, an internationally recognised training agency.  We provide all the kit you will need for entry level diving, including that all important dry-suit so that you will be warm and comfortable in the sea, whatever time of year.  You can relax knowing that all our instructors are well qualified and very experienced so you are in safe hands.  We  guarantee you will train in small groups at a pace that suits you. Minimum age is 14, and there are some medical restrictions.

Pool Training

We have regular pool sessions at King Williams College pool on a Sunday afternoon.
Please bring with you a t-shirt and your swimming stuff, we'll bring the rest.

Theory Training
All theory lessons are run in our on site classroom in the dive centre in Port St Mary.

Open Water Sessions
We use Port Erin quite a lot for sea training sessions. There is nearby parking, easy access and a maximum depth of 10 metres, making this an ideal training site. Open Water Sessions are scheduled around the tide and weather. Our newsletter and Facebook page are a great way to get up to date information about when we are diving.
